How to submit your data ?
|
@lsabase doesn't contain detailed data.
Name-lists, with added information are the only data used.
@lsabase indexes the data and creates the link to
the genealogist (e-mail and Web site, if it exists).
1/ Name-lists
Several file formats can be used :
- GENEANET file format is well known, and preferred
- Other file formats can be used: WORD - EXCEL - TEXT (with a semi-colon ; text separator, if possible)
WORD - EXCEL - TEXT structure as follows :
Required : |
SURNAME - VILLAGE |
Useful : |
begDATE - endDATE - RELIGION |
with only ONE fact per cell.
We will sort the data -- don't worry about that.
Example :
SURNAME | VILLAGE | begDATE | endDATE | RELIGION |
MUELLER | BERSTEIN | 1758 | 1758 | C |
MUELLER | BERSTETT | 1835 | 1858 | P |
MULLER | BERSTETT | 1856 | 1856 | P |
MULLER | BERGHOLTZ | 1645 | 1674 | C |
MUNSCH | RHINAU | 1694 | 1719 | J |
If you use a .TXT format file (text):
MUELLER;BERSTEIN;1758;1758;C
MULLER;BERSTETT;1835;1858;P
etc.
Send an email message with your attached file to the webmaster.
2/ Detailed data to be converted to a name-list
A GEDCOM file can also be used (each good genealogical software can export data in this format). The @lsabase team will convert it to a name-list file, and it's only this name-list which will be published on @lsabase.
